I just joined tribe net not too long ago and when I searched tribes for "Dane Cook" I wasn't expecting to get a match but here it is!!!!! I am really excited about this one. But I'm pretty bummed because I don't have cable or satellite where I am so I am severely Tourgasm deprived. (And I dont have an iPod so I can't do the whole iTunes thing.) Anyone else in the same boat?

got it for 12.99 at tower. two-discs plus a dvd.

i've listened to most of the first disc. a lot of the material i remember from the last time i saw him. sometimes i feel like even if it was new material it would sound like his old material because he seems to have a pretty solid formula for his jokes.

himself> a desire> that desire coming to life in step-by-step detail> histrionics.

also at one point he gets heckled and they left it in there, but only because of the funny way that he acknowledges that his reaction to the heckler killed the mood.

i think my life has gotten to the point where a day doesnt go by without either myself or one of my friends making some sort of reference to Dane's comedy. Its usually some sort of quote, but sometimes just a reference to a joke he made... i realize that every now and then when a situation calls for it, its fine [like my friend got stung by a bee a couple weeks ago, so we spent a lot of time saying "fuck bee's. i will punch every bee in the face" when taking care of his very swollen hand.], but everyday?

i guess dane really is just *that* good.

dane has a page there. you can get some reall interesting and personal insight on him and see some great candid shots. you can even get on his friends list and get his aim name so you can stalk him online. its totally for real and mentioned on his real web sight.

My friend and I were watching Dane on TiVo the other night. The whole car alarm bit had us crackin up! "Hellooooooooooo. I am a Caaaaaaaaaaar. Gasoline makes me run. Backseat. Trunkspace! So freakin funny!
